Present situation of my skin
From now on, I will share my story of being freed from the worry of recurrent pimples, thanks to practicing fundamental care for my skin.
This is the current condition of my skin. Two years ago, my skin was troubled by recurrent acne, but now, I can maintain beautiful skin that even girls compliment.
current condition of my skin
- “I no longer suffer from recurring acne.”
- “I am able to use the time and money I used to spend on acne care for hobbies.”
- “I started receiving compliments on my skin from girls”
- “I gained confidence and can now confidently appear in public.”
For seven years, I struggled with recurring acne. I would buy and try countless skincare products that claimed to be effective against acne. Despite all efforts, my skin showed no signs of improvement; in fact, it worsened over time.
At that time, I was filled with anxiety, thinking that I might spend my entire life and a lot of money on various skincare products, only to be left with acne scars. However, now those anxieties have disappeared along with the acne.
Comparing my past self, who used to feel stressed looking at my troubled skin in the mirror every day, to now, I am filled with confidence almost as if it were unbelievable. My life is comfortable.
The reason I am able to enjoy days freed from acne worries is just one: ‘I understood the true cause of recurring acne.’ Once you understand the correct cause, you can take appropriate measures.
If you’ve read this article this far, I assume you’re troubled by recurring acne. If any of the following checklist items apply to you, there’s a high possibility, like me, that the cause of your acne is ‘dryness’.
Check If any of these apply to your condition!
- “When I touch my skin, it feels dry and rough.”
- “My face feels tight after washing.”
- “My skin stings after shaving.”
- “My cheeks and mouth area get dry.”
- “My forehead, nose, and chin quickly become oily.”
- “I have redness or bumpy rashes on my skin.”
Thus, If you have any symptoms above, please practice the fundamental care of acne care that i introduce from now “Skin Dryness measures”
It will be my pleasure if this article can be helpful to you.
The daily struggle against recurring acne, no matter how much I washed my face or moisturized.
When I used various acne treatments only to fail. I was troubled by recurring pimples.
First, I’ll share my 7-year journey of failed acne care episodes. Please read along while checking if any resonate with you.
The more common with me, the more effective the ‘dryness prevention’ – the fundamental acne care I practiced – will be.
Are you treating your acre correctly?
- My acne care routine consisted of just washing my face.
- I only used toner for moisturizing after washing
- My skin felt stingy when I tried to moisturize it.
Acne care routine consisted of just washing your face.
You often hear that ‘washing your face is necessary for acne.’ When I first started my skincare routine, I also believed that washing my face would make my skin clear.
However, to cut to the chase, acne doesn’t improve with washing alone.
This is because the fundamental cause of acne is disrupted sebum production and skin turnover due to factors like dryness, leading to clogged pores.
Therefore, for those who only rely on washing their face, no matter how temporarily clean their pores may seem after washing, they cannot prevent the cause of clogged pores, which is “skin dryness.” As a result, pores become clogged again due to excessive sebum production and disrupted skin turnover, leading to recurring acne.
In the other words, the essence of fundamental acne care lies in preventing skin dryness through proper moisturization, thereby achieving healthy skin that doesn’t clog pores.
However, many men continue to use “incorrect moisturization” methods, leading to dry skin and potentially causing acne.
ONLY toner for moisturizing after washing
After learning that washing alone couldn’t prevent acne, I gathered more skincare information and understood the importance of moisturizing after cleansing. I started moisturizing, but at the time, I didn’t want to spend too much time or money on skincare. Consequently, I only used toner after washing my face.
However, I eventually realized that toner alone wasn’t enough for moisturizing. The reason is simple: about 98% of toner consists of water, and its purpose is to provide moisture to the skin. However, most of this moisture evaporates even if you apply a generous amount of toner, leaving the skin with minimal hydration.
Even more concerning is that the moisture applied to the skin’s surface can lead to “over-drying,” where it takes away moisture from deeper layers of the skin (the stratum corneum) when it evaporates.
Therefore, trying to moisturize with toner alone by applying a lot of it can actually further dry out the skin due to over-drying. (I personally experienced the worst dryness when I only used toner.)
The skin feels stingy when I try to moisturize it.
Realizing that toner alone couldn’t provide sufficient hydration, I started using milky creams and other creams despite the additional expense, hoping to be freed from acne troubles.
However, another problem emerged: my skin sting when I tried to moisturize it. Initially, I optimistically attributed it to the effects of the skincare products. However, as time passed and my skin condition worsened, I promptly visited a dermatologist.
There, I learned the two reasons why my skin would sting even after moisturizing.
- too much friction to the skin
When moisturizing, I used as many products as possible to maximize the moisturizing effect: toner, serum, milky cream, and even moisturizing cream.
However, using a multitude of skincare products increases the frequency of contact with the skin, leading to excessive friction. Consequently, this excessive friction disrupts the skin’s protective barrier function, making the skin more sensitive to irritation. As a result, moisturizing would cause my skin to sting.
- Ingredients of the skincare products do not suit me.
When I went to the hospital, I discovered that I had sensitive skin. Sensitive skin is said to be related to genetic factors such as allergies. If the ingredients in the skincare products being used contain allergens (substances that cause allergies), the skin may experience stinging.
How to find cosmetics that suit you
Through these experiences, I came to the realization that “I need to find products that suit me.” I continued to search for moisturizing care products based on the following three criteria:
- Minimize friction as much as possible
After experiencing a variety of moisturizing care products, I realized that having a large number of products inevitably increased friction on the skin. Moreover, with a large number of products, skincare requires more time and money. Therefore, I focused on finding all-in-one products that combine all the necessary moisturizing elements into one.
- Ingredients that suit me
Due to having dry and sensitive skin, I sought products that had passed the following three safety tests, ensuring they were gentle and safe for my skin. Additionally, just like with friction, using a large number of products increases the likelihood of containing ingredients that may not suit you. Therefore, from that perspective as well, I believed it would be best to minimize the number of products as much as possible.
- Patch Test: A test where the test substance, such as cosmetics, is applied to the skin and observed for skin reactions after a specified period. In this test, a patch is applied to a specific area, and the presence and severity of skin inflammation are evaluated to confirm the safety of the product.
- Allergy Test: A test to confirm that no symptoms such as inflammation or rash occur by continuously using the test substance, such as cosmetics.
- Stinging Test: A test conducted on “carefully selected sensitive skin” among sensitive skin types to evaluate sensory stimuli such as tingling, itching, and warmth. * “Stinging stimulus”: Transient tingling, itching, or warmth that occurs when cosmetics or cosmetic ingredients are applied to the face.
- available for Acne prone skin
I was using cosmetics at the time to prevent acne. Therefore, I looked for products that had undergone the ‘non-comedogenic test,’ which confirms that they are less likely to cause acne.
(※Not everyone is free from comedones (acne).)
Encounter with the Right Skincare Products
In this way, continuing to search for moisturizing skin care products based on these three criteria, I finally found a product that suited me and could be used for a long time. In fact, the acne care routine I am currently practicing consists of just two steps.
- Cleansing:
- During cleansing, I gently wash my face to minimize irritation. Additionally, I avoid using products with excessively strong cleansing properties, as they can be harsh on the skin.
- Moisturizing:
- After cleansing, when the skin’s natural oils are stripped away, it becomes prone to dryness. Therefore, I moisturize immediately after washing my face. To minimize friction on the skin, I gently press the moisturizer onto my skin until it’s absorbed.
The days freed from the agony of recurring acne
It’s truly just a simple two-step skincare routine, but by sticking to it, I’ve been freed from the burden of recurring acne, enjoying comfortable days. Most importantly, meeting the skincare products that suit me has brought me great joy, as it freed me from spending excessive money and time on cosmetics.
Moreover, I’ve received heartwarming feedback from those who have actually practiced fundamental acne care after reading this article. Here are some of the comments I’ve received.

Please try the fundamental acne care: dryness prevention. We sincerely hope that by incorporating AQUCIRIO AQUATECT GEL into your routine, you’ll be able to regain a comfortable life free from the burden of recurring acne. Best wishes.
What is AQUATECT GEL?
AQUCIRIO AQUATECT GEL is a moisturizing gel created by a male developer who had suffered from extreme dryness and sensitive skin, experiencing various skin troubles.
As someone with dry and sensitive skin myself, I was drawn to the fact that it was developed by a fellow man facing similar skin issues. I’ve been using it for about two years now and it has become a staple in my skincare routine.
Moreover, it has been over 20 years since its development, and it’s not just me but many others who have been using it for a long time, which speaks to its reliability.
After personally using it, I have three reasons to recommend it to men struggling with acne.
Reason 1.Seven skincare products in one. Quality over quantity.
.AQUATECT GEL, being a moisturizing gel, consolidates the functions of seven skincare products into one:
- Toner
- Emulsion
- Cream
- Serum
- Body Cream
- Mask
- Makeup Base
The primary purpose of basic skincare products is ‘moisturizing.’ Therefore, if you can moisturize effectively, there is no need to use multiple skincare products. In fact, using more products can sometimes lead to irritation to the skin.
AQUATECT GEL, with its ability to provide long-lasting and effective moisturization with just one product, skincare quality over quantity.
Reason 2. Provides optimal balance of moisture and oil to the skin simultaneously.
To moisturize dry skin, it’s essential to provide ample hydration and maintain it. AQUATECT GEL has meticulously fine-tuned the balance between maximum moisture and the necessary oil to maintain moisture on the skin. Through extensive research, we’ve arrived at the golden ratio of water:oil, “8:2″
(though the ratio is more nuanced).
We achieve high moisturization by allowing moisture to penetrate dry skin while preventing evaporation with the appropriate amount of oil. This approach focuses on retaining moisture within the skin, ensuring optimal hydration.
Reason 3. Moisturize with just one product. 15-second quick skincare.
As a result of our pursuit of moisturizing effectiveness, AQUATECT GEL has inadvertently become an all-in-one skincare product that completes moisturization with just one application.
Simply spread the appropriate amount onto your face, and you’re done. It takes just 15 seconds. Unlike toners, it doesn’t drip, so there’s no need for patting or massaging. It smoothly penetrates the skin with just spreading.
With just 15 seconds in your busy morning skincare routine and another 15 seconds in your nighttime routine when you return tired, you can utilize your time for work, meals, relaxation with friends and family, and other activities.
Q&A
Q. Can I use it even if I have a wound?
A. Yes, you can use it. Unless you have an allergy to the ingredients of AQUATECT GEL, you can use it even on areas with wounds. However, it may sting.
Since AQUATECT GEL is a gel cream that is rich in moisture, it may sting similar to how water stings on wounds. If it stings too much to bear, it’s recommended to treat the wound with medication and then use the gel after it has healed.
Q. Should I use medication?
A. Yes, it’s recommended. Medication and AQUATECT GEL serve different purposes. Utilizing both concurrently is the most effective approach.
Difference in roles:
- Role of medication: Suppressing existing symptoms such as inflammation and itching.
- Role of AQUATECT GEL: Moisturizing the skin and nurturing healthy skin.
For those who haven’t seen improvement with medication:
Many people may feel that they haven’t improved despite using medication. However, the purpose of medication is to suppress existing symptoms like inflammation and itching. Therefore, even if the symptoms are suppressed, the skin itself remains dry. Thus, the effects of medication are temporary, and acne may recur.
By starting care with AQUATECT GEL, you can expect the skin itself to approach a healthier state. By nurturing healthy skin while using medication appropriately to promptly suppress symptoms, you can prevent recurring acne. Therefore, if you are currently prescribed medication or experiencing symptoms such as itching and inflammation, it’s highly recommended to use medication properly.
*Please consult a doctor to confirm if concurrent use is suitable for you.
Q. How long does it take?
A. Aim for “3 months” as a guideline initially.
The duration varies greatly depending on the cause of acne, symptoms, and lifestyle. As a reference, over 70% of people who started using AQUATECT GEL for hand care reportedly felt changes in their skin by the “3rd month.”
It’s recommended to continue the skincare routine for at least “3 months” initially.
Q. Are there people for whom it doesn’t work?
A. Yes, unfortunately, there are cases where care with AQUATECT GEL doesn’t suit everyone.
Those for whom care with AQUATECT GEL doesn’t suit:
- Individuals with allergies to ingredients below
- Those seeking immediate results
- Those expecting strong effects similar to medication
For individuals who know they have allergies to certain ingredients, please check the list of ingredients beforehand.

For those seeking immediate or strong effects:
